THE PROJECT OF GREEN ENCLAVE ON THE HIGH-RISE APARTAMENT BUILDING
The definition of enclave is any small, distinct area or group enclosed or isolated within a larger one. Due to the fact that my project is located on the roof of the building, there is a type of space which doesn’t occur originally there. And therefore it called the green enclave. The main issue is to design green roof on the high-rise apartment building which would be one of the most interesting places in the city. My main aim is to use the green roof as a place to sit and relax in the leisure time.
Nowadays, it is getting harder to have time to yourself in so much urbanized city. People are increasingly busy. Therefore, it is important to create the space for relaxation which would be close to home. The inspiration of the project was the slogan of the modern garden.

I wanted to show differences in surface textures and penetration of paths with greenery. Because of the equipment on the roof, the shape of the pathway was dictated unintentionally. The total area of the roof is 825 m2.

It is based on the composition of circles. The introduced modern style is diversified by a walk on a wooden path with a geometrically curved course, which in some places extends to provide a recreational place. A very important feature of the garden is its functionality and comfort of use, which is influenced, inter alia, by the introduction of garden furniture. They should be not only convenient, but also in their form and manner of execution adapted to the style of the entire garden. Properly integrated into the environment, both in terms of color and spatial, they can create a unique effect.
